Program:
19:15 – Open doors
19:30 – Start workshop
20:30 – Start gala
21:00 – Opening gala and Surprise event
22:00 – Doors close
23:40 – Costume competition followed by Snowball
01:00 – Ending

The advanced standard technique workshop is sold out: It will take place from 19:30 to 20:30 on the 8th of March, the hour before the gala at the WICC. The workshop will be given by Klaudyna Borewicz (with a partner, to be confirmed).

The beginners’ workshop has past.

Gala FAQ

You can either wear a theme outfit, or follow the dress code which is semi-formal or formal.
Yes you can, the gala is open to everyone. We suggest you point your friend to the beginners workshop so they can learn to dance! However, just joining to experience a ballroom gala and not dancing is also allowed.
No! Anyone can join.
For the technique workshop, you are expected to have a basic knowledge in ballroom. If you have done any of the WuBDA courses you should be alright. The beginners' workshop is for people who have no or little dancing experience.
No, the workshops are free if you have a ticket for the gala and signed up.
Yes! The gala is open to everyone!
The location (WICC) has paid parking options next to the front door, for 1,80€ per hour. Click here for directions. However, if you don't mind walking a few minutes, the neighbourhood around the location has free parking. Click here for directions.
The location is a few minutes walking from Busstation Wageningen Click here for directions. If you need directions to get from the bus station to WICC, Click here. It is also possible to rent a bike from the KEOBike carousel at Ede-Wageningen station (you do need an app for that).
It is possible to stay the night at one of our members’ houses. When you sign up you are asked if you would like to stay over at a member's place. Do note that there is a limited number of spots available! And we cannot guarantee we can find a place for everyone. Another option is to book a room at the event location, which is also a hotel.
You are encouraged to wear dance shoes, but it is not obligatory.
